1. Obtaining approval for using foreign labor

“The approval letter for using foreign labor will be based on Decree No. 152/2020/NĐ-CP detailing the implementation of some provisions of the Labor Code regarding foreign workers working in Vietnam.”

At least 30 days before the planned use of foreign labor, businesses (excluding contractors) must submit a report explaining the need for foreign labor to the approval authority.

If a business has been approved for its labor demand but there is a change in the need for foreign labor, the business must report and explain the change in its demand for foreign labor.
